Quality Assurance System

Standardization of product quality and safety guarantee system through feed GMP guideline, FAMI-QS certification and ISO22000 certification

JAPAN NUTRITION is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, accuracy and quality.

In order to maintain the highest standards of product for food and feed safety, we have feed GMP guideline confirmation certification, FAMI-QS certification and ISO22000 certification. FAMI-QS certification is the European quality control and product safety system developed for feed additive products. ISO22000 certification is the international standard for food safety management systems.

We have therefore built a quality assurance framework that imposes strict quality standards in all areas from selection of input materials to manufacturing and product shipment as well as dealing with clients.

FAMI-QS refers to certification under the quality control and product safety system for guideline feed additives set up by the EU in September 2004. Our Kashima plant, Shibushi plant and head office are FAMI-QS certified as production and trading of premixtures, mixed feeds and hydrolyzed coconut expeller.

Feed GMP guideline is a set of standards for the basic safety management implemented in all processes from raw materials to final products.

Feed GMP guideline confirmation certificate is issued by the Food and Agricultural Materials Inspection Center (FAMIC) which is designated by the Japanese government. Our Kashima plant and Shibushi plant have the certification.
